JULY CELEBRATIONS

KINGDOM HEIRS

The Seniors group will meet on Monday, July 11 at 12:00 noon for their monthly luncheon.  Special guest John Appleby will bring the program following the meal.  Reservations need to be in by Sunday, July 10.  You may call the church office or speak with Pastor Ella Louise.

On Saturday, July 30 the Seniors will be traveling to Bear Creek Farms to be entertained by Jimmy Fortune.  Church vans will leave at 10:00 a.m. and will return around 5:00 p.m.

CHILDREN'S NEWS

The children from children's church and the Wednesday evening program will be having a fun activity traveling to Cooper's Sport Bowl on Saturday, July 16 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m.  Other children have been invited to this event.  Please be at the church for transport to Cooper's not later than 1:30 p.m.  For further information please call the church office and speak with Sherry.

AMERICAN BAPTIST WOMEN

A small group led by Nancy Bond will meet on Saturday, July 16 at 10:00 a.m. for their monthly Bible study.  The group will take a look at the book of James.  Time spent in study will prove rewarding as women gather.  The group is always open for others to join them.  Maybe this month it could be you. 

OUTREACH PICNIC AT FIRST

On July 30 at 4:00 p.m. First Baptist will host an outreach picnic for any and all persons who wish to join them.  The event will be held in the Shelter House on the church grounds.  Come, bring a friend and enjoy a time of fellowship and fun.

SMALL GROUP SERIES COMING

A new small group series will be held on Sundays in August at 4:00 p.m.  We will be studying about discipleship using Max Lucado materials.  There will be a cost for a book to use per person.  Class size is limited.  If you are interested in joining this small group please contact the church office and speak with Sherry.
