This is an opportunity for kids to come to one place to get a variety of treats. Vehicles that are filled with treats in their trunks will be lined up and kids can go from one vehicle to another. You can help by donating candy and treats, by making your car available as a treat station, volunteers are also needed to 'man' tables on the parking lot which will distribute cider and give out information about our church. Bring treats to the office or give them to Steve Moore. Thanks for your help! - Principles for Whole Church Disciplemaking Part 2: Building Ministries
Why is Intentional Discipleship so important? While most churches believe in making disciples, very few are effectively making them. - The average "evengelical" church in America wins 1.67 people (less than 2) to Christ and their church each year for every 100 people who attend that church.
- One-third of church members state their greatest individual needs are not being met by their church.
- Only 11 percent of church members have shared the gospel even once in the last year, and 33 percent have never shared the gospel with anyone.
"Discipleship does not happen simply because a church exists. It occurs when there is an intentional and strategic thrust to facilitate spiritual maturity." - George Barna, Growing Ture Disciples "T-Net understands that the way to grow healthy, balanced churches is through a people-building process rather than church programs. Listen and learn from them." - Rick Warren, author of The Purpose Driven Church Cost: $65.00 - Single registration $45.00 - Group of 2-5 $39.00 - Group of 6 or more $25.00 - Student registration Pre-register by October 13

PENNY WAR IS ON!!!! The youth of the church are preparing for their engagement in a WAR. However, the war is a friendly one in hopes they will be traveling to Colorado for a national youth event this summer. During the month of March, all Sunday school classes and small groups will be participating in this fundraiser by placing pennies into jars labeled according to class or small group. The pennies will earn points. There has been some muttering as to the possibility of sabbotage such as putting coins or dollar bills into the jars which subtract from the points gained by using solely the pennies. You will need to be on guard for this one! Let us support our youth with our pennies in anticipation as to who will be awarded victor in WAR and give our youth an enthusiastic send off for Colorado,
